DUAL | FLUX was created as a reflection on my research into artist-teacher in adult community learning. The two keywords feature heavily in the published literature about artist-teacher and also came up as themes in my participant research.
Working these ideas out in the studio helped me to think about their importance and reposition them from a research context into an art context.
thinking about these themes in different contexts is important for me as I work out where my research sits and the best ways to disseminate it.
Having the work displayed in an art exhibition allowed me to bring my artist self into the research process.
